thread the licence plate light wires into the slot below the
mounting and into the OEM licence plate unit, ensuring
the wire remains in the slot and does not

•
Tidy the wiring so the wires are neatly placed inside the OEM licence plate unit and reassemble the
tail unit as before as shown in
picture 11,
if necessary, use the cable ties provided (item 5) to
wrap the wire if too long.
•
Re-fit the licence plate unit to the bike as shown in
picture 12,
ensuring to reconnect the grey
block connector to the main wiring loom.
•
At this point, turn on the bike and check the R&G licence plate light illuminates as it should. If
illumination fails, swap the bullet connectors around.
•
Ensure that all bolts re-fitted and secure.
•
Re-fit the licence plate (it may require drilling).

THE LICENCE PLATE HANGER, THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE OF THE LICENCE PLATE
HITTING THE BACK WHEEL UNDER HEAVY LOAD AND OVER LARGE BUMPS IN THE ROAD.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK FOR THIS POSSIBILITY AND TAKE AVOIDING
ACTION. FAILURE TO CHECK THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
•
Depending on local laws, attach enclosed reflector (
