CFFA3000 Hardware

CFFA3000 Remote

The optional CFFA3000 remote offers a way to change the currently mounted virtual diskette image
in either of the virtual Disk II drives. Each push of a button mounts the next disk in the associated
Disk II drive if more than one disk had been chosen on the Disk II assignment screen.  The cable
between the CFFA3000 and the remote must be oriented so that pin1 on the remote is connected to
pin 1 on the CFFA3000 card.  On the remote, pin 1 is the leftmost pin on the board, as viewed in
Figure 12

Note: Starting with run 2 of the CFFA3000 cards a 10 pin ribbon cable is being supplied with
the optional remote accessory. Figure 12 below shows the proper orientation for this cable.
The actual pins on the cable being used are pins 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10.
