IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following.
1.
Before you put the plug into the socket, please check that the type of current and
mains voltage correspond to the instructions on the nameplate on the underside of
the appliance. If this is not the case, consult your dealer and do not use.
2.
Read and retain all instructions for future reference.
3.
To protect against risk of electric shock, do not immerse the appliance, the cord,
plug or Sandwich Maker in water or any other liquid.
4.
If this appliance falls into water, “unplug it” immediately. DO NOT TOUCH THE
WATER.
5.
Always “unplug it” immediately after using.
6.
Close supervision is necessary when it is being used near children.
7.
The flex must be fully extended during use.
8.
Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord, plug, or it is not working
properly, return it to your dealer or consult a qualified electrician so as to avoid any
risk or danger.
9.
Ensure the main cable does not hang over sharp edges and keep it away from hot
objects and open flames. Only pull it out of the socket by the plug, not by the cable.
Do not pull, twist, or wraps line cord around appliance.
10. Never block the air openings of the appliance. Place the unit on a stable level and
heat-resistant surface, Do not place on or near a hot gas, electric burner or in a
heated oven. Do not place under curtains or low wall-cupboards.
11. Caution! Danger of burns! The outside surface of Sandwich Maker becomes hot
during use. Do not touch hot surface and hold it by the handle only.
12. Oversize foods, metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted in a toaster as
they may cause fire or electric shock..
13. Do not use sandwich toaster with a damaged outlet.
14. If this appliance has switched off automatically or has been switched off manually,
it may need time to cool down for 10-15 minutes before restarting.
15. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
16. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of child less than 8 years.
