6.2  Configuring device 

All configurable items in the table above can be configured, such as Tx rate, Rx rate, and 
electrical interface. However, the slave device can be configured through remote management 
only. The slave device cannot be configured locally even though you can query its status after 
the device is inserted into the 16-slot chassis. 

There are some requirements on the G. interface rate, Annex type, and codding mode. If these 
requirements are not met, the device may work improperly. The device determines the rate 
range according to the Annex type and coding mode.
