4. Flush the Hot Water Heater
• Run hot water in the bathtub until the water tests soft.
5. Add Salt to Brine Tank / Control Settings

before filling your brine tank with salt.
• Once the brine tank is full of salt, remember to increase the salt level
in the EC4 Control Head. Go to Customer Settings on Screen (Press
the Down Arrow). Salt Lvl : # (lbs / KG)
• Refer to the Level # on the side of the brine tank to calibrate current
amount of salt in tank. Weight shown is a reference per the level.
• When using Block Type Salt, please review Stacking Figures below
for correct and incorrect stacking methods of Salt.
