8. Practical tips:
8.1. Observe local regulations for the time of day during which you can use the machine
outdoors. In some countries it is prohibited cutting the morning before 08.00 hours, in the
afternoon between 2:00 p.m. to 16:00 hours and in the evening after 22.00 hours, to protect
citizens from unwanted noise.
8.2. When working ruggedized careful not to overload the motor. Overload rotation speed
of the motor falls and the sound thereof is changed. In this case, stop, release the lever for
inclusion (4) and adjust the cutting speed. Otherwise performance will be reduced and the
machine could be damaged.
8.3. When cutting close to the edges careful not to pinch scissors with foreign objects.
8.4. The productivity of cutting depends on the thickness, moisture content, length of the
branches, and the speed of cutting. Cutting performance decreases with frequent switching
of scissors. To optimize the performance of cutting is recommended more frequent cutting,
increase cutting height and work with moderate speed.
If necessary, repair your scissors is best to be performed only by qualified specialists in the
workshops of RAIDER, where only use original spare parts. Thus ensure their safe operation.
9. Environmental protection.
9.1. The machine, accessories and packaging should be sorted for environmental-
friendly recycling.
Do not dispose of power tools into household waste!
According the European Directive 2002/96/EC for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
and its implementation into national right, power tools that are no longer usable must be
collected separately and disposed of in an environmentally correct manner.
9.2. Battery packs/batteries:
Litium-Ion (Li-ion).
Warning! These battery packs contain cadmium, a highly toxic heavy metal.
Do not dispose of battery packs/batteries into household waste, fire or water. Battery packs/
batteries should be collected, recycled or disposed of in an environmental-friendly manner.
Defective or dead out battery packs/batteries must be recycled according the Directive 91/157/
EEC
