Dewatering Lever
Mechanical lever located on the right side of the motor.
When actuated it opens the Dewatering Valve to expel
bad fuel overboard and by means of a rod and fingers it
opens Decompression Valves on the cylinder head, so
that water may be expelled from the cylinders. Features
a detent position, to allow for hands free operation
while dewatering.
Gear Shifter
Located on the forward section of the lower engine
cover. Three position lever that allows for selection of
forward, neutral, and reverse. Ensure that the throttle is
at idle before placing the motor into gear.
Tachometer/Hour Meter
Displays the total number hours the Raider Outboard
Motor has been operational. A tachometer mode can be
selected by the operator for the purpose monitoring
motor RPM.
