1. Remove the handset from the base.

To switch a normal call to the

handset. To switch from a speakerphone
call to a normal call, press

is located at the bottom
of the handset.
• For best performance,
use the speaker phone
in a quiet room and let
the caller finish speaking
before you speak. If you
or the other party has
difficulty hearing, adjust
the speaker volume.
Receiving a call
• To have the phone
select Line1 or Line2
instead of a free line, set
the default telephone
line (see “Selecting a
Telephone Line” on
page 19).
