It is obligatory to check the functioning of the VTO in prescribed time intervals.
As already said, one end of the VTO is for installation on the heat exchanger of the boiler and the
second for feeding of cold water under pressure. It is very important that the flow of such water is
unobstructed also when there is no supply of electric power.
If it is not possible to provide for the flow of cold sanitary water also when there is no
supply of electric power, the boiler must be connected to an open system.
If the supply of sanitary water to the thermal safety valve is through an additional pump,
the boiler must be connected to an open system.
