THE RADCLIFFE WHEELBASE
10 FOOTRESTS
If your seating system does not come equipped with foot-
rests, we offer a choice of swing-away, standard or heavy
duty footrests.
10.1 Fitting Standard Footrests
•
Press the spring button on the top of the
footrest hanger and slot into the sockets
on the front of the seat rails.
•
To remove, depress the spring button
fastener and pull each in turn.
•
To adjust the height, release the clamp bolt and slide the footplate up or
down. Tighten the bolt securely at the desired height.
Note : Do not use, or allow the use of the footplates as a step when getting in or out
of the wheelbase and seat.
Note : When moving in or out of the wheelbase, lift the footplates up out of the
way beforehand.

Heavy duty footrests are available, for user's that are likely to place excessive
force on the footrests.
We recommend that these are fitted by the Wheelchair Service, or their

on the pins

Swing the footrest around to the closed position
