MODULE SPECIFIC SYNTAX
General
The Module Specific Syntax for the 1260-12 is required in the use
of the OPEN and CLOSE commands. It will also appear in data
output by the Master in response to the PDATAOUT and
PSETUP commands.
NOTE:
The 1260-12 Relay Actuator Module is supported by Option
01 Operating Systems at Revision levels 2.1 and above.
Syntax
The Module Specific Syntax for the 1260-12 Relay Actuator
module is as follows:
<module
address>.<channel>
where <module address> is the address.
<channel> is the reference number of the relay to be
closed, value 0 - 19.
NOTE:
The <module address> used here is not the VXIbus defined
logical address of the 1260 Master. It is peculiar to the 1260
Series and describes the switching module in relation to the
Master. This address corresponds to the binary value of the
switch setting of SW1 on the switching module PCB.
Each <channel> is a double-pole, double-throw relay with two
normally open and two normally closed connections. The
connections are between the Common and the Open pins if the
<channel> is OPEN, and between the Common and the Closed
pins if the <channel> is CLOSED. The pin connections made by
each CLOSE <card address>.<channel> command are given in
Figure 3-2
