5.5.2 Monitoring the Running Status of IPv6
Context
In routine maintenance, you can run the following commands in any view to display the running
of IPv6.
Procedure

Run the
display ipv6 interface

view to view information about IPv6 on an interface.

Run the
display ipv6 statistics
command in any view to view statistics on IPv6 packets.
l
Run the
display ipv6 neighbors

command in any view to view the cache content of neighbors.
l
Run the
display tcp ipv6 statistics
command in any view to view statistics on TCP6
packets.
l
Run the
display tcp ipv6 status
command in any view to view the status of a TCP6
connection.

display udp ipv6 statistics
command in any view to view statistics on UDP6
packets.
l
Run the
display ipv6 socket

view to view information about the specified socket.

This section describes IPv6 debugging through the debugging command.
Context
CAUTION
Debugging affects the performance of the system. So, after debugging, execute the
undo

command to disable it immediately.
