How to erect your awning.... continued

•  Step 4 : Pegging

Before you start pegging you should ensure that all doors and panels are zipped shut and that the pegging strap inside the awning (between the two main air
beams) is connected as this ensures the awning is in the correct shape and position before pegging, otherwise you may peg the awning incorrectly.
Start by pegging the rear corners first (as shown in image previously). These are pegged just underneath the vehicle. This then pulls the draft pad against the
vehicle. There is a small triangle located at the bottom of the draught pad that is pegged along the side of your vehicle (inside the awning). This then pulls the
draught pad into the correct position.
Then move to the front corners, pulling the awning tight as you go around. Repeat this for all of the pegging points around the awning.
Once all the pegging points have been done, you should then peg the storm straps. Always peg the storm straps even in good weather as the weather can
change at any time and failure to peg all points and the storm straps may lead to the awning failing.

•  Step 6 : Optional Extras (purchased seperatley) :

Rear Legs

Rear legs

: You have rear draught pads on your awning and these are pulled against the side of the caravan when you peg it. This helps create a seal against

your caravan, but you can further improve this by the use of the optional rear leg poles. If you have purchased these they are fitted after you have finished
pegging your awning. Once pegged take the rear legs into the tunnel. Extend the rear leg so the top (flat) part of the leg goes into the pocket located at the
top of the rear draught pad. Then extend the pole down into the ground. DO NOT OVER EXTEND the pole as this could cause damage to your awning. You can
then push the pole against the pad to help push it against your vehicle to create a better seal and fit to tour vehicle.

•  Step 7 : Optional Extras (purchased seperatley) :

Canopy Pole Kit :

You can use the front panel as a sun canopy by purchasing the optional canopy pole kit. If you have purchased this, to use it simply unzip the front panel and
take one of the canopy poles. The long spike at the top of the pole goes though the eyelet located at the bottom of the panel. You then tie one of the guy lines
on the spike. This holds the canvas in place and allows you to peg the guy line in place, which holds the pole in place. Repeat with the second pole and you
will end up with the front panel extended out as a canopy.
