Appendix C GPRS Multi-slot Classes
Thirty-three classes of GPRS multi-slot modes are defined for MS in GPRS specifications. The multi-slot
class varies from product to product, and determines the maximum achievable data rates in both uplink
and downlink directions. The numbers in the column of active slots are the total number of slots the GPRS
device can use simultaneously for both uplink and downlink communications.
The description of different multi-slot classes is shown in the following table.
