he drain out device is an essential and
mandatory component for Quatreau
®
tap installations.
• Shown here (top right) connected to
the tap Venturi™ on the boiling pipe
feeding
SmartTap
or boiling chilled
sparkling pipe feeding the
TouchTap
.
• It is designed to create an air gap
preventing reverse migration of waste
water into a potable water device.
• The interconnection pipe must run
downhill (as shown here) into the
Airgap connection.
Stage 2
provides a secondary non return
valve in the grey adaptor whilst stage 2
provides an air gap between water being
drained off and the foul waste.
Stage 3
is the Drain Out Kit connection
saddle for 32mm or 40mm waste
connection. Manual piercing device
included in the kit.
Stage 1
the Type AA airgap connection is
a mandatory level of protection for potable
water devices requiring a run off to drain.
