When the web browser contacts the camera IP, do the following:
a.
Login using the default user name
Admin
and password
1234
.
Note:
User name and password are case-sensitive.
Note:
It is strongly advised that administrator’s password be altered for security
reasons.
b.
If the Information Bar (just below the URL bar) prompts for permission to install the
ActiveX Control for displaying video in the browser (see the figure below), right-click
the Information Bar. Select
Install ActiveX Control
to allow the installation.

If a security warning window prompt appears, click
Install

If a popup message appears for running the DVPlayer add-on, click
Allow
.
Note:
If the password is changed and DVTEL Latitude AdminCenter Discovery feature is
in use, deselect all other proprietary types. Select
DVTEL Quasar Gen II Series
so
that the new password can be configured in the Discovery tab settings.
