Barcode labels are automatically assigned during the DX3000/DX5000
system initialization. These barcode labels can be over-ridden if
necessary.
To assign a barcode label to a tape cartridge(s):

Set the DX3000/DX5000 system to the off-line state (see
“Changing
Library State”
on page 84).

From the
Library
link of the
Configuration
page, click the
Barcode
Assignment
link.
The
Barcode Assignment
page displays (see
figure 27
).

Select the tape cartridges from the
Available Tape Cartridge
list and
click the right arrow button to move them into the
Selected Tape
Cartridge
list.
