Mounting in System
Note:
These requirements interact with requirements of other system
components.
Workmanship and Finish
High quality PDUs should always be used. Item should be uniform in quality and free from defects that
adversely affect life, serviceability performance or appearance.
Quantity
2 or 4 each (depending on input power configuration).
System Mounting Requirements
Can be mounted in the rear of the rack and be contained fully within the
outer dimensions of the rack except for the input power cord.
Neither the PDU nor its mounting hardware will interfere with servicing
FRUs in the rack.
All power cables can be routed to the PDU and plugged in such that the
cables will not interfere with servicing of FRUs.
Routing of power cables will be achievable while staying fully within
the outer dimensions of the rack.
