area virtual-link dead-interval
This command configures the dead interval for the OSPF virtual interface on the virtual interface
identified by
<areaid>
and
<neighborid>
.
Syntax
area <areaid> virtual-link <neighborid> dead-interval <1-65535>
no area <areaid> virtual-link <neighborid> dead-interval
<areaid>
- Area ID.
<neighborid>
- Router ID of the neighbor.
<1-65535>
- The range of the dead interval is 1 to 65535.
no
- This command configures the default dead interval for the OSPF virtual interface on the virtual
interface identified by
<areaid>
and
<neighbor>
. The
<neighbor>
parameter is the Router ID of the
neighbor.
Default Setting
40 seconds.
