Please read the following instruction carefully before using the slicer for the first time and keep them ready
to hand.
• Caution: The knife is very sharp, risk of injuries!
• Children are not aware of risk resulting form electrical appliances and cutting tools. Therefore the slicer
must not be used by children.
• Do not immerse the slicer into water or any other liquid.
• Always operate the slicer with a shock-proof 230V~ socket. Always connect and use the slicer in
compliance with the rating label.
• In order to avoid injuries, the food pusher has to be placed on the carriage, as soon as the food is small
enough to place the food pusher.
• Always use the food pusher for slicing of small pieces of food.
• The appliance must not be used for any other than the provided purpose. Only use it for cutting food, that does
not contain bones or any other hard parts.
• After use of the slicer and before cleaning it, pull the plug out if the socket and adjust the cutting thickness to 0.
• Please avoid any contact between the power cord and the knife or any other sharp edges. The knife is very
sharp, be very cautious when cleaning it!
• Inexpert handing and repairs may entail serious risks to user. Repairs should only be performed by our after
sales service.
• Check the plug and power cord regularly for wear and damage. In case of a fault, please send the appliance for
inspection/repair to our after sales service.
The appliance is only provided for domestic use. The manufacturer does not assume any warranty in
case of improper or incorrect or commercial use or after repair by unauthorized third party.
• Remove all packaging materials and check, if all parts are complete.
• Before using the appliance for the first time, wipe it with a damp cloth (See Chapter Cleaning).
• Place the slicer on a flat, clean, solid, and dry surface.
• Mount both parts of the carriage.
• Insert the carriage into the guide. Hold it at a right angle and then tilt it download.
• Place the food pusher on the carriage and the food tray from the rear middle under the carriage.
• Connect the plug into a power socket that matches rating label.
• Adjust the desired cutting thickness from 0-15 mm by turning the knob.
• Place the food to be sliced on the carriage and press it slightly against the rebate plate. The food must not
contain any bones or other hard components..
• The appliance has a safety lock function. Users cannot switch on the slicer by just pressing the on/off
switch. The slicer starts to run upon users pushing the switch forward while keep pressing it. Then push
the carriage slowly against the rotating knife. To stop running the slicer by just release the switch.
• In order to run the slicer without pressing the switch, users can push the switch further forward until part of
it is fixed by the housing. Then push the carriage slowly against the rotating knife. To stop running of the
slicer, users can pull the switch back to its original position.
• As soon as there is only a small part of food left, you have to use the rest holder to avoid injuries. The
appliance must not be used without carriage and food holder.
• The knife rotates as long as button is pressed down. Release switch to stop the machine and wait until the
knife has stopped rotating.
• When you have finished, adjust the thickness to “0” to prevent blade damage or user injury.
• Please clean the appliance and in particular the knife immediately after cutting fat food (e.g. cold meat,
cheese etc.)
