Cleaning, storage and trasnport of the appliance
• Unplug the machine before cleaning it.
• Do not immerse the machine in water or any other liquid nor clean it under running water.
• Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use any agressive scouring agents. These may damage the
applinace’s body surface.
• Caution: the knife is very sharp.The knife is made of stainless steel. Just wipe it with a damp cloth. Please
be very careful when cleaning the knife.
• From time to time you should also clean the space behind the knife. First remove the carriage by tilting it
up and removing it from the guide. Then turn the screw in the middle of the knife clockwise only release
the sharp knife using the blade release key.
• Take out the knife very carefully and clean it by hand in warm water with a drop of a cleaning solution.
• Do not leave the knife in the water in order to reduce the risk of injuries. Reinstall it directly after cleaning.
• We recommend to grease the tooth wheel at the backside of the knife from time to time.
• Clean the housing behind the knife with a dry cloth or a soft brush.
• Install the knife in reverse order. The interior must be dry before inserting the knife. Turn the screw
counterclockwise until it clicks in.
• Place the carriage on the carriage rail.
• Device should be stored in dry and safe place, away from unfavorable weather conditions or direct
sunlight.
• Prior to transport make sure all the moving parts are secure to prevent possible damage or injury. It is
highly recommended to use originalpackaging for transport.
