TheThe front header arms must 

be secure to the third bow mount 

bracket and the fabric/ bows 

must be layered back before the 

vehicle is driven!  Failure to secu-

re these bow mounts will cause 

the top to potentially fly off the 

vehicle causing damage to the 

top, vehicle and potentially other 

vehicles on the road. 

WARNING

Folding back and securing the entire 

top to the rear of the vehicle

     

To fold back the entire top assembly 

to the rear of the vehicle and secure, 

remove the rear and quarter windows 

from your soft top. Unlatch the quick 

release knobs (both sides) from the 

front, Center #1, Center #2 bows (fig 

86), unhook the pin securing the rear 

leg (fig 86a). With the help of a friend, 

fold back the entire top, folding it un-

der itself to the rear of the vehicle as 

shown in fig 87.  Make sure the front 

header tubes are secure inside the 

vehicle and the front header is inside 

the vehicle.
