Q. Lighting Instructions (IPI)
• For normal use, activate/deactivate your fi replace with the remote control.
• The IPI system may be operated with four AA batteries.
• If
your
fi replace must be deactivated for serviced or an extended period of time, follow the instructions below.

try to light the pilot by
hand.
B.
BEFORE LIGHTING smell all around the appliance area for
gas. Be sure to smell next to the floor because some gas is
heavier than air and will settle on the floo

Use only your hand to turn the gas control knob. Never use
tools. If the lever or knob will not move by hand, don't try to
repair it, call a qualified service technician. Force or
attempted repair may result in a fire or explosion.
