automatically unscrew itself from the set blind rivet nut.
- Automatic mode: The blind rivet nut will be set automatically without any further action.
Immediately after setting the blind rivet nut, the mandrel will unscrew itself automatically
from the set blind rivet nut.
2.2.6 Force reverse button

the blind rivet nut. Press corresponding indicator light flashes) and pull the trigger 1 time
to force the mandrel to exit from the blind rivet nut and reset. This action can be applied in several
cases of fault codes as well.
2.3 Troubleshooting
Problem
Possible cause
Solution
Blind rivet nut
is not deformed
enough
- Incorrect stroke (too low)
- The thickness of the workpiece
does not match
- Lithium battery undervoltage
- Increase stroke
- Check blind rivet nuts, and the
plate thickness
- Charge battery or replace with
a charged battery
Automatic blind
rivet nut spin-on
function does not
work
- Size of blind rivet nut does not match
the mandrel size of the Q-Tool
- Mandrel worn out
- Wrong tuning of the protruding
mandrel/anvil
- Change to correct blind rivet
nut, or change to correct mandrel
- Replace the worn out mandrel
- Tune the length of the protruding
mandrel/anvil correctly
The mandrel
is stuck in the
workpiece
- The thread of the blind rivet nut is
damaged or defective
- The mandrel is damaged, or the
wrong size mandrel is used
- Replace the blind rivet nut with
one that is not damaged
- Change the mandrel to one that is
not damaged, and/or to correct size
The mandrel broke
- Stroke too high
- Single side force on the mandrel
- Decrease the stroke settings
The Q-Tool has no
movement
- Empty battery or battery worn
out / damaged
- Riveting capacity beyond Q-Tool
capacity
- Charge the battery, or replace
with a new one
- Select a blind rivet nut tool with
the correct capacity
