Spray arms
– Clean the spray arms regularly (hard water chemicals will clog the
spray arm jets and bearings):
– Remove the upper spray arm: Hold the nut in the centre still. Rotate the spray
arm counterclockwise to remove it (
Fig. V
).
– Remove the lower spray arm: Pull out the spray arm upward (
Fig. W
).
– Wash the spray arms in soapy and warm water. Use a soft brush to clean the
jets. Reinsert the spray arms after rinsing them thoroughly (
Fig. W
).
8.4. FROST PRECAUTION
Take frost protection measures on the appliance in winter. Every time after washing
cycles, operate as follows:
■
Cut off the electrical power to the appliance at the supply source.
■
Turn off the water supply and disconnect the water inlet pipe from the water valve.
■
Drain the water from the inlet pipe and water valve.
■
Reconnect the water inlet pipe to the water valve.
■
Remove the filter at the bottom of the tub and use a sponge to soak up water.
8.5. MOVING THE APPLIANCE
If the appliance must be moved, try to keep it in the vertical position. If absolutely
necessary, it can be positioned on its back.
9. TROUBLESHOOTING
Warning:
■
If an overflow occurs, turn off the main water supply before calling for service.
■
If there is water in the base pan because of an overflow or a small leak, remove
the water before restarting the dishwasher.
