Decontamination procedure 

If a tube breaks when a run is in progress, decontaminate parts that may have been 
contaminated with an appropriate disinfectant. The decontamination procedure is the sole 
responsibility of the user. Parts that may have been contaminated can be cleaned with a 
sponge or a damp cloth moistened with 10% bleach solution. 

Contact QIAGEN Technical Support if additional or alternative decontamination procedures 
are required to ensure the compatibility of the new procedure with the instrument.
