Danger!
Before every journey, check that the safety harnesses and harness catches are sitting cor-
rectly. Failure of the restraining function can result in serious or even fatal injuries in the
event of an accident. Start driving only when all children either wear a cycling helmet or use
a head rest and are properly belted.
Adjusting the seat system
The seat system has three positions for an optimal adjustment of the restraining system for the respec-
tive height of the child. The length of the straps can also be adjusted via a buckle in the trunk. The belt
pads are fixed behind the backrest with a Velcro strap to prevent them from slipping.
Adjusting the position of the seat belts
f
Open the trunk lid.
f
Loosen the wide seatbelt straps from the grey buckles.
f
Loosen the Velcro fastener on the narrow straps of the
belt pad fixation.
f
Insert the straps together with the Velcro strap through
the slots in the backrest to the front.
f
Select a different position and pass the narrow strap of
the belt pad fixation through the opening first and then
the wider strap of the seat belt.
f
Close the Velcro strap between the two narrow straps of
the belt pad fixation.
f
Thread the wide straps of the seat belt back through the
buckles in the trunk.
f
Check the proper fitting of the seat belts.
Adjusting the belt length
f
Open the trunk lid.
f
Pull the grey buckle slightly towards you to adjust the
length of the seatbelt strap.
Mid sitting position (
Sportrex2
)
To achieve optimum load distribution, it is important for the load’s centre of gravity to be approximately
in the middle of the cabin. In the as-delivered state, the 5-point safety harnesses are pre-adjusted for
carrying two children. If you only want to carry one child, you must adjust the safety harnesses so that
the child can sit in the middle.
