functioning properly.
Special Operating Conditions
Conditions may require adjustment or adaptations to the equipment. Below is a list
of some of these conditions, their possible effects and possible solutions. (And as
always, please contact
QED
for detailed assistance if needed.)
1.
If a high water level condition persists for several days, indicating a change in the
local water table, you may need to raise the skimmer so that product removal can
again take place.
2.
If the recovery well experiences a sudden influx of water, due to rain or snow melt
for example, the skimmer head may be submerged in water rather than product,
due to its limited travel.
3.
If the skimmer is an SOS type, and it has been submerged, check the recovery tank
to confirm there is no water.
