radius of ≥ 60 mm).
Ä Store cable hanging freely. Cables must not lie
between the module and substructure (risk of
crushing).

Ä Take care not to short-circuit the string.

5.2 BEFORE INSTALLATION
NOTE! Damage to the solar modules!
Ä Do not damage the back sheet of the module.
Ä Remove adhesive tape on the rear.
Ä Cut through cable clips.

Alignment of 60 cell modules:
Ä Align the solar modules so that all junction boxes
in each string point in the same direction.
Ä Only solar modules facing in the same direction may be
interconnected in series.

Depending on the length of the string, observe a 180° string
rotation from row to row.

optimal wiring during the installation.

Ä Depending on the polarity, fasten cables with 2
cable clips each on the long module side.
Ä Do not fasten cables while live or crosswise.

The cables later run to the roof ridge of the Q.FLAT-G5.

Ä Ensure the plugs are firmly connected. The plugs
should audibly snap into place.
Ä Check the installation dimensions against the
project documents.
Ä Take corrective action if necessary.
Ä Connect the system as shown in the project documents.

Ä Make sure that the cable and plug are not lying on
a water-bearing layer, are not touching the roof
cladding and are not rubbing against edges and
components.
