C 280 / S 280 / C 310 / ST 310
Bow Seating and Storage
There are three storage compartments
located in the bow. The port and starboard
compartments are equipped with cushions
and locks for secure storage. Secure all
cushions snaps before using the seats or
getting underway. Racks are provided to
secure three rods.
Make sure the rods are
secured properly in the storage rack before
getting underway. The rod racks can be
folded out of the way to provide more room
for storage.
The third compartment is located in the
cockpit sole and provides access to the
water and holding tanks.
Casting Platform/Sun Lounge
(Optional on the S 280)
The casting platform/sun lounge is hinged at
the bow and locks onto the console cooler.
Secure the locks before using the casting
platform/sun lounge or before getting under-
way. The platform is equipped with gas
springs to support it in the "UP" position and
to allow access to the forward deck hatch.
Secure all cushion snaps before getting
underway or before using the sun lounge.
To prevent injury to persons, do not allow
passengers to stand on the casting plat-
form/sun lounge when the boat in under-
way.
Forward Table and Sunpad Filler
(Optional on the ST 310)
The forward table is provided with a protec-
tive cover and long and short supports.
Secure the forward hatch before using the
table. The long support places the table at a
comfortable seating height. The shorter sup-
port places the table at the correct height to
use the sunpad filler. To prevent damage to
the table's finish whenever the table is not in
use, place the cover over the table. To com-
plete the sunpad area, place the sunpad
filler cushion on top of the table. stores in
the head compartment, the table supports
are stored in the bow floor storage compart-
ment.
T-TOP.
The fiberglass T-top frame is white powder
coated aluminum and is designed to accom-
modate radio antennas, radar antennas and
navigation lights. It is equipped with an over-
head storage compartment for life jackets, an
enclosed storage compartment and overhead
red and white lights and can be
equipped with
optional outriggers and/or rod holders.

WARNING
Damage to the engine cowlings, stern
seat and transom door can occur if
the stern seat is not opened properly.
The engines must be tilted to the full
down position, the transom door
opened and the latches at the front of
the seat released before the bench
seat can be opened.

CAUTION
PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO
EQUIPMENT.
Lock the forward hatch in the fully
locked position to prevent personal
injury or damage to the table. To pre-
vent injury to persons or damage to
the table, the forward hatch must be
secured in the fully locked position.

WARNING
Serious injury can result from sitting
on, leaning on the table. DO NOT sit or
lean on the table when it is in the
upper seating position.
