Follow the cleaning agent manufacturer’s Instructions for Use and precautions regarding health hazards,
dispensing, measuring and storage of cleaning agents.
Cleaning Between Uses
•
Wipe down the Inspection Borescope
system
with a compatible wipe. Follow the wipe
manufacturer’s Instructions for Use.
High-Level Disinfecting
(Inspection Borescope
ONLY
)
•
Select only the disinfecting solutions listed in the compatible disinfecting methods section.
•
Follow all recommendations regarding health hazards, dispensing, measuring and storage from the manufacturer
of the cleaning and disinfecting agents.
•
Soak the Inspection Borescope
in the selected disinfecting solution per the solution manufacturer’s
Instructions
for Use
•
Rinse the Inspection Borescope with critical (sterile) water, again, following the instructions of the
disinfecting
solutions manufacturer.
•
Dry with a sterile, soft, lint-free cloth or sponge. Ensure that the distal tip and proximal end are dried. Air drying
could leave deposits on the optical surfaces which could result in a degraded image.
