Installation Tips. 

 

It is important to create a clear communication path. 

Wireless comms can be hindered by radio interference and obstructions in the path 
between the radio and receiver. To achieve the best performance carefully consider the 
installation locations for the Gateways and Nodes, select locations without 
obstructions in the pathway between them. 

Increase the height of the Antenna. 

Position the antenna vertically for optimal RF communication, if necessary change the 
height of the radio or antenna to improve reception. For outdoor applications 
mounting the antenna on top of a pole or building may help to achieve line of sight 
radio link.
