1.) When installing the electric kit the spring in the slide lock must be removed. If this
spring is not removed it will cause damage to the system when operated. Remove the #1/4-20 x
1-3/4” hex bolt with the nylon nut. Slide off the slide lock and remove the spring . Re-attach the
slide lock without the spring. See Figure 2 below.

3.) There are two motor brackets. The front bracket is shaped like an L and the rear
bracket is T shaped with three holes and two small bends. There is also a motor cou pling tube
that attaches the drive shaft from the motor to the top of the long threaded rod of the AAG.
