controls the intercom level for the pilot and copilot, while the large knob controls the passenger intercom
volume. Intercom squelch is automatic.
A 3-light Marker Beacon receiver is integrated in the PMA8000. This provides the necessary Marker Bea-
con lights and audio indications necessary for an Instrument Landing System (ILS) approach. A pushbut-
ton labeled MKR allows the pilot select high or low sensitivity as well as test and mute modes.
