Maintenance and cleaning
Switch the product off and remove all plugs before cleaning!

Remove any fitted attachment.
2.
Clean the blades and comb attachments using the provided cleaning brush to remove any remaining loose hair
clippings.
3.
Clean the housing of the appliance using a soft, dry cloth.
4.
The blades of the clipper attachment should be lightly lubricated with the provided oil after a few uses.
Caution! When cleaning the components, do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or materials such as
scouring milk or steel wool. These can damage the exterior of the appliance.
Storage
When the appliance is no longer in use, store it in a dry environment, away from dust and direct sunlight.
When not using the appliance for a longer period of time, make sure to recharge it on a regular basis in order to help
maintain battery performance. To maintain optimum capacity and performance of the rechargeable battery, it is advised
to charge your device for at least 2 hours every 3 months.
Charging the batteries
Before using your appliance for the first time, make sure to charge it for at least 2 hours, so the battery is fully loaded for
optimum performance. Please note that maximum battery performance will only be reached after 3 charging/discharg-
ing cycles.
Follow these steps to charge your appliance (make sure it is switched off):
• Connect the charging cable connector (D4) to the power supply socket of the storage base (D2) or directly in the
charging socket on the trimmer (A4).
• Plug in the charger (D3) into a fitting mains outlet.
• The LED indicator (A3) will flash in red when the device is correctly connected and the charging is in progress.
• When the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator (A3) will constantly light up in green.
• When fully charged, the cordless operation time will be about 90 minutes.*
