Distance range varies according to the surface properties and reflectivity of the object to be measured.
Reflectivity indicates the amount of light which the target is able to reflect and which is received by the
LM_ 100. Surface properties has influence to the possible distance between sensor and target. The
better the surface properties and reflectivity, the higher the max distance range.

11.4 Cooling jacket
Proxitron laser distance sensors can be fitted with a cooling housing. With
a flow rate of cooling water of 1 l/min (alternatively approx. 50 l/min of air)
at temperature < 30°C, a maximum ambient temperature of 200°C is
permissible. The maximum operating pressure is around 5 bar.
