4. Place the pro-
tective filter bag
over the filter
element.
5. Carefully remove
the filter element
and close the
protective filter
bag with a knot.
6. Clean the filter
seal (4). Check it
for damage and
replace it if
necessary.
7. Check the anti-
static clamp (5)
for damage and
have it replaced
by PROTOOL
Service if
necessary.
8. Check that the
control flap (6)
for filter cleaning
works properly.
The control flap
should move
back and for-
wards easily.
9. Clean the level
hose (7).
10. Fit a new filter
element.
11. Fit the filter
holder. Ensure
that it is in the
correct position.
12. Fit bar and close
bar handle.
13. Dispose of the
used filter ele-
ment in accor-
dance with legal
regulations.
Never use the vacuum cleaner without a
filter.
Emptying dirt tank
Only after picking up harmless dust without a
filter bag.
After vacuuming liquids: clean the edge of the
waste container and the seal on the washer.
1. Remove the
upper part of the
vacuum-cleaner
from the waste
container.
2. Release the
fastening catch
and remove the
washer.
3. Pull up the lever
on the handle
and tip the con-
tainer.
4. Tip out the waste
and dispose of it
in accordance
with the law.
OR
3. Release the
catch (4) on the
waste container.
4. Grasp the con-
tainer by the
handles (5) and
lift it out.
5. Tip out the waste
and dispose of it
in accordance
with the law.
6. Put in a new
waste container
and fasten it in
place (4).

Disposal
Power tools, accessories and packaging should be
sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
Only for EC countries:
Do not dispose of power tools into
household waste!
According to the European Directive
2002/96/EC on waste electrical and
electronic equipment and its incorporation into
national law, power tools that are no longer suitable
for use must be separately collected and sent for
recovery in an environmental-friendly manner.
