DPV1 Objects
The DPV1 Objects configuration is shown in the following figure. The slave device DPV1
Objects configuration window is opened by either double-clicking on the slave device in the
tree, or right-clicking the slave device and selecting
Configuration
.

The DPV1 configuration consists of the following parameters:
Parameter
Description
Slot
The Slot number to which the PROFIBUS DP transaction will be directed.
Index
The Index number to which the PROFIBUS DP transaction will be directed.
Size
The size (bytes) of the transaction.
Functions
The Functions supported for this object:
Read
Write
Read/Write
Tagname
The Logix Tagname where the data will be read / written.
The Logix Tagname can be either entered manually or selected using the Logix
Tag Browser by clicking on the Browse button (…) adjacent to the Tagname.

The list of Logix tags will not be available if the Logix controller path has
not first been correctly configured.
