4.6.4 Enabling the MNET Client 0 Commands
The default module configuration contains two Modbus Client commands
associated to MNET Client 0. In the default configuration file, these commands
are disabled.
1
To enable the commands, expand the
MVI56E-MNETC
node in ProSoft
Configuration Builder until the
MNET
C
LIENT

C
OMMANDS
tag is visible.
2
Double-click the
MNET
C
LIENT

C
OMMANDS
tag to open the
Edit MNET
Client 0 Commands
dialog box.
Select the first command in the list, and then click
E
DIT

.
Important:
The commands must also be enabled in the ladder logic in order for them to be
executed. The
MNETC.CONTROL.CmdControl.WriteCmdBits[x]
controller tag array holds 16-
command bit arrays for each Client. If a bit for a specific command is set to zero (
0
) in the
WriteCmdBits[x]
controller tag, the command will not be executed, regardless of its enabled or
disabled state in the configuration.
