Under rare fault conditions ClO
2
solution can escape via a
leak.

A gas detector must be installed if no other measure is
provided to ensure personnel safety in the event of ClO
2
escaping so that the system switches off and an alarm is
triggered that can be seen/heard from afar.
CAUTION!
Attach warning signs at the place of installation of the Bello
Zon ® CDLb and in the chemical storage rooms, in accord‐
ance with the local regulations.

Warning against illegal operation
Observe the regulations that apply where the device is
installed.

Access only for trained personnel.
n
If there is a smell of chlorine dioxide (pungent, chlorine-like smell)
access is only permitted to personnel wearing the specified protective
equipment.

If there is a smell of chlorine dioxide, immediately switch off the
system from a safe position, e.g. emergency stop switch, which is
installed at a distance from the system.
