WARNING!
Risk of fingers being crushed
Under unfavourable conditions, the stroke axle or displace‐
ment body can cause crushing of the fingers.
–
Disconnect the pump from the mains power supply and
ensure that it cannot be switched on again by unauthor‐
ised persons.
WARNING!
Risk of injury from the fan impeller
The fan impeller beneath motor's fan cowling can cause
severe injuries while it is turning.
–
The pump must only be connected to the mains voltage
with the fan cowling closed.
WARNING!
Hot oil and hot components
The hydraulic oil and the hydraulic end may become very hot
when the pump is exposed to heavy loading.
–
Allow the pump to cool before starting work.
Unsuitable spare parts for the valves may lead to problems
for the pumps.
–
Only use new components that are especially adapted to
fit your valve (both in terms of shape and chemical
resistance).
–
Use the correct spare parts kits. If in doubt, refer to the
exploded drawings and ordering information on our web‐
site www.prominent.com or - if included - the "Supple‐
mentary CD for Operating Instructions".

Clean the discharge and suction valves only one after

markings.
For orientation: Should you have a dismantled liquid end in
front of you, the suction valve is on the side of the diaphragm
rupture sensor.
