Setting up installation
2.1 General
Familiarise yourself with the process:
We describe here how to set up the pump for
PROFIBUS
®
mode - you will later meet the pump’s
PROFINET
®
protocol via the DULCOnvert in the
master control system!
For this reason, "PROFIBUS
®
" is interchangeable
with "PROFINET
®
” at many points.
The pump with a plug-in PROFIBUS
®
module is set up in the same
way as a standard pump, with the addition of the bus functionality.
The software interrupts the set-up process in the
event of pauses of longer than 60 s.
2.2 Setting up the PROFIBUS
®
slave address
1.
Connect the disconnected DULCOnvert by its PROFIBUS
®
cable to the pump’s PROFIBUS
®
socket.
2.
Press
[P] for 2 seconds on the pump.
3.

[arrow keys] to go to „Settings“ and
press
[P].
4.
Use the
[arrow keys] to go to „PROFIBUS
®
“ and press [P].
5.
Use the
[arrow keys] to go to „Address“ and press [P].
Always enter the PROFIBUS
®
address “002” as a 3-digit number:
1.
Die 1. Use the
[Down] key to go to the 1st digit “0” and press
[P].
2.
Die 2. Use the
[Down] key to go to the 2nd digit “0” and press
[P].
3.
Die 3. Use the
[arrow keys] key to go to the 3rd digit “2” and
press
[P].
2.3 Activating / deactivating PROFIBUS
®
„PROFIBUS
®
“ must be set to „active“ in the operating menu for
the pump to be controlled by the PROFIBUS
®
:
1.
Press
[P] for 2 seconds.
2.
Use the
[arrow keys] to go to „PROFIBUS
®
“ and press [P].
3.
Use the
[arrow keys] to go to „active“ or „inactive“ and press
[P]. You’re done!
