with respect to
the frame
B
.
Unscrew, without removing, the 6 bolts
C
until you can move the two fixing blocks
D
away from the frame just enough to be albe to slide the plate
A
.
Position the plate
A
to a different height making the two pins
E
on the fixing blocks
match to the grooves
F
on the inner side of the frame.
Once you have determined the new height, hold the plate and the fixing blocks on the
frame a tighten the bolts until compacting the parts. Once the system is fixed, between
the plate
A
and the blocks
D
there will be a 0.5~1 mm. approx. gap
X
.
Do not fully tighten one bolt of the fixing block and then start tightening the others two.
Do not fully tighten the three bolts of one block and then starting to tighten the other
fixing block. It results easier to fix the system by screwing the bolts alternatively.
If the wheelchair is equipped with the optional support, the adjustment is the same. The
optional support integrates the fixing block.
Note: it is not necessary to remove the fixing blocks
D
to carry out the adjustment.
You may need to adapt the mudguard -
see chapter “sideguard”.
Remember that the rear height affects the seat inclination, thus, it is necessary to
check and adjust the front fork angle.
