Excessive Redness and Swelling
On rare occasions, the treated skin may become very red
and start to swell. This occurs more often at sensitive body
sites. The erythema and swelling should subside within 2
to 7 days. Frequent cooling with ice may help to reduce the
swelling. Gentle cleaning of the skin is permitted, but you
should avoid exposing yourself to the sun.
Infection
An infection of the skin is extremely rare. However, there
is a potential risk subsequently to a burn or skin wound
caused by the appliance.
Haematoma
In very rare cases, blue marks (Haematoma) which can last
5 to 10 days may be formed after using the appliance. A
russet coloration of the skin (Hyperpigmentation) may occur
when the haematoma fades away.
Hair Colour and Skin Type Table
Do not use the appliance on naturally dark skin or tanned skin. The application on dark skin may result in burns, blisters and
changes in skin colour.
