PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The venturi injection dechlorinator neutralises
Chlorine contained in waste water drained from
the pool or coming from the pool during a filter
backwash, by mixing waste water with a neutralising
agent called Neutral.
The ratio recommended by the manufacturer
of Neutral is 150 ml to reduce the Chlorine
concentration of 100 m3 of water by 0.5mg/l.

INSTALLATION CONFIGURATIONS:
The venturi injection dechlorinator kit is mounted on
the waste line in the plant housing.
It it compatible with all filtration groups fitted with at
least an Aqua plus 4 pump.

SCOPE OF USE
The venturi injection dechlorinator neutralises
Chlorine contained in waste water drained from the
pool or coming from the pool during a filter back
wash, by mixing waste water with a neutralising
agent called Neutral.
The ratio recommended by Hydopro, the
manufacturer of Neutral, is 150 ml to reduce the
Chlorine concentration of 100 m3 of water by
0.5mg/l. In other words, if we take the Chlorine
concentration in the pool to be 2mg/l, 1litre of
Neutral will be required for 166,666 l of pool water.

TOOLS AND NUMBER OF PEOPLE REQUIRED FOR
INSTALLATION
Number of people: 1
Installation time: <1 h + glue cure time.
Tools required: Glue for rigid PVC pipes, Teflon.

STEP BY STEP ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Assemble the by-pass as illustrated in the
diagram enclosed as an appendix.
Do not
forget to wrap a waterproofing tape (such
as Teflon)
around the threaded unions on the
venturi injector to ensure leaktightness of the
installation. Caution, check that the venturi
injector is installed the right way up (the direction
of flow is shown by an arrow on the venturi).
2.
Install this assembly on the waste line. By
preference, the venturi injector should be
mounted head down to ensure even injection of
the product.
3.
Pierce a hole in the 5L container of Neutral and
feed in the end of the Ø8x12 flexible tube. Push
the other end onto the venturi injector’s hose tail.
Make a small hole in the 5L container of Neutral
to allow entry of air.
4.
To ensure smooth injection, the container of
Neutral should be installed at the same height
as, or higher than, the venturi injector.
5.
Respect the glue cure time shown on the
packaging before allowing water to flow through
the assembly
