Lift the carrier slowly with the gripping good and avoid jerky movements!
Otherwise, there is a risk that the gripping good will slip off.
Never drive with the carrier device (excavator) and loaded device (SVZ-ECO-L) over uneven ground faster
than slow walking speed!
When driving over uneven ground, make
absolutely
sure that the arm of the carrier does not start to
hopping!
•
There is a danger that the gripping good (manhole ring/cone) could break apart due to the resulting
clamping forces (from the inside).
•
There is also a risk that the distance between the gripping good (upper edge of the manhole ring) and
the lower edge of the support or brackets will be greater than 15 mm.
If this is the case, set down the gripping good immediately and grip it again.

General operation
When gripping manhole rings with step irons (see
), make sure
that the brackets are not positioned too close to the climbing
helpers!
When placing the manhole rings on top of each other (with step
irons) it is useful to mark the manhole rings on the outside with
paint, chalk or similar (at the place where the step irons are
placed).
This is to ensure that the step irons are always placed on top of
each other at the same point as the manhole ring that has already
been moved.
