MONITOR is used to inhibit the PG-200 when the array is being read out.
SMA
– Style of fiber optic cable connector used on PG-200 front panel.
SWEEP
– Series of gate pulses with a constantly increasing gate delay from the input
trigger.
SYNC’D
– State in which either DELAYED TRIGGER OUT OR AUX DLY’D TRIG
OUT pulses are synchronized to trailing edge of high voltage gate pulses, i.e. there is a
fixed delay from gate pulse trailing edges to trigger out pulses.
TERMINATOR
– Resistor mounted at the receiving end of a cable to match the
characteristic impedance of the cable and thereby reduce signal reflections in the cable.
Also references the cable signal to ground.
VALUE ENTRY
– Keyboard entry of either a numerical or units value. While value
entry is in progress, keys have a particular definition. That definition may change at
times when values are not being entered.
