Thanks for purchasing EAGLE CORE, the wireless control unit that makes fast and
easy astrophotography with DSLR cameras. In the first part of this manual you will
find all the explanations on how to use EAGLE CORE. In the second part you will find
a guide on how to start astrophotography using EAGLE CORE with telescopes and
photo lenses.
WARNING
To avoid the risk of electric shock or malfunction, do not expose EAGLE CORE to rain
or moisture. Electronic components are not waterproof so in bad weather and rain,
snow or other weather conditions it is mandatory not to use the EAGLE CORE
outdoor.
POWER
EAGLE CORE is 12V powered but it can be powered with a voltage from 7V to 24V.
Caution: the voltage of the output power ports depends strictly on the input voltage.
If any of the devices powered by EAGLE CORE is supplied with a voltage other than
the one provided, there may be malfunctions or damage.
We recommend to power
EAGLE CORE via an external 12V power supply or a battery. If you use an external
battery, this MUST be equipped with a special voltage stabilizer. Immediately
disconnect power supplies or power supply if you have any malfunction of the
unit.
