BARBECUE
The BARBECUE and MOUNTING BRACKET are stored in a bag on the aft deck.
1.
The desired mounting place for the BBQ is OUTSIDE the rail near the starboard sundeck door.
2.
Be careful as you will be holding the BBQ over the water while you tighten the bracket
3.
After mounting securely, there’s a required way to attach the propane bottle and regulator
a.
The regulator and gas tube are KEYED and the combo must go in with the bottle/reg almost upside
down at about the 1:00-2:00 position (it goes in easily)
b.
Tighten the bracket again before lighting if needed
4.
Carefully light the unit, preferably with a long-stem butane lighter attached to the mounting bracket.
5.
The barbecue generates a lot of heat and cooks hot and fast, even on low settings
Reverse the procedure to dismount barbecue.
After it cools, stow the barbecue unit back in the bag and place on the aft deck. Please wipe with a paper towel
before storing to prevent grease and dirt from soiling the boat.
Note: Propane bottles are not stocked by AYC. You will need to purchase one if extras are not found on board.
Caution -- For safety reasons, do not store an opened propane bottle within the salon or engine compartment. Store
propane bottles in the aft sundeck cabinet.
