location and you will then be able to browse to this file.
Display Devices
Besides the built-in LCD, you can also use an external monitor/flat panel dis-play or TV as your display device. The
following are the display options:
1. The built-in LCD.
2. An external monitor connected to the external monitor port.
3. A flat panel display connected to the external monitor port.
4. A TV connected to the S-Video-Out Port.
Function Key Combination
You can use the Fn + F7 key combination to toggle through the display options:
Notebook Only
External Display Only
No External Display
Make sure you give the displays enough time to refresh.
Television Display Warning
After you have connected a TV as a Display device for the first time, the Television icon will
appear in the Devices tab permanently thereafter (whether or not as television is connected to
the S-Video-Out Port).
If you select the Television as the single display device when no TV is connected to the S-Video-
Out Port, the screen may appear blank. If this happens use the Fn + F7 key combination to
toggle through the display options until the display reappears on the notebook screen.
Attaching Other Displays
If you prefer to use a monitor or flat panel display, connect it to the external monitor port on the left of the computer.
1. Attach your external monitor to the external monitor port, and turn it on.
2. Go to the Graphics Properties control panel and click Devices (tab).
3. Choose the display option from the list on the left.
4. Choose which attached device will be Primary or Secondary.
5. Click Apply (and OK to confirm the settings change) and OK (button).
